The children have music class twice a week for 30 minutes.  We will be covering a lot this year but will be having lots of fun in the process.  We will be learning and expanding on our music theory, vocal training, rhythm instruments, dancing, and once a month we will be having a music appreciation lesson.  Grades 3-5 will be studying different classical composers and also about music throughout time.

In addition to music class we will be continue learning to play the guitar in semester 1, in semester 2 we will be learning how to write a song and the children will then get to record and and make a music video.  K-5th grades will have two performances throughout the year, the Holiday Show on Dec. 20th at 8:30am and the Spring Sing on May 1st at 8:30am.
